New Unemployment rate 9%!!!!!! THANK YOU OBAMA!

"In economic news on Friday that President Barack Obama called “positive” but said shows the economy is still growing much too slowly, the unemployment rate ticked down to 9 percent in October, while the country added a less-than-expected 80,000 jobs last month."

So....wait a second, what was the unemployment rate in September? 9.1 huh? How about August? 9.1 huh? So.....you mean in the past 3 months we've gone down .1%?

The media can give facts in ways that are misleading. Remember when you hear a significant fact like a poll number or an unemployment percentage, do your own research. The "tick" down, literally was 1 tick. We have not had jobs grow NEARLY as strong as we have been expecting/promised/deserve. It's time for a change. We were promised a government with accountability, well I haven't seen it. We were promised a government that would do all in its power to help, or at least not hinder, the economic future of our nation, I haven't seen it. We were promised the troops would be home a year ago......yeah. The ideals of this nation's current leaders and those who inform the public do not align with the principles of the founding fathers nor with the public at large. Let's get a new voice in 2012.

The Top 10 Reasons Why I Choose to Occupy My Mind, Not Wall Street

This will be much easier to do in list format (you'll notice this is my favorite way to say my points):

1. The federal government caused this housing collapse with its policies requiring the banks to give out loans to unqualified buyers or face governmental pressure.
2. The Occupy Wall Street movement is a political mess with no clear agenda and no clear endpoint at which they will stop occupying.
3. OWS is occurring in the places at which most lower to mid level bankers work, these people did nothing wrong, they simply work at the company.
4. OWS is filled with my brethren, current college students and recent college grads that have had a mentality of personal entitlement drilled into their heads since birth.
5. I'd rather have a job
6. OWS does not cause anything to happen in itself, these people are not attempting to draft legislative ideas, increase voting, or submit anything viable to the political conversation other than "we're pissed".
7.You may get arrested, beaten, raped, assaulted, robbed, harassed, or violated by entering their area with any different ideal than theirs (all have occured).
8. There is a statistically relevant percentage of them that not only oppose the American system, but support communism and socialism.
9. They are fundamentally clueless on what the world economy runs on, and why.
10. I'D RATHER GET A JOB

My take on the Herman Cain "Black or Whack" debate

First let me say: As far as whether the harassment allegations are true or not, only time will tell. So for now, I will ignore them. However, this is not to say I am unaware of them.

I am calling this the "Black or Whack" debate because the rhetoric involving the issue has come from both black and white news people &/or liberals and has mostly included whether or not he is the "black friend" of white people or if he has black people's interest at heart or not. Well......my take is....WHO CARES?

The man is attempting to become the president of the United States, not the president of the white or black states. Herman Cain grew up in the South during the time of the civil rights protests, and he chose to go to highschool and college and become a success instead of protesting. Well:

1. What do you think they were protesting the right for, except for other young black males like him to be able to do EXACTLY what he did/is doing?
2. How can you judge someone for NOT protesting? That's like judging a female for not being part of the women's suffrage movement, let's face it, not everyone has protesting and going against "the man"in them.

Another claim is that he is fundamentally unaware of the plight of the black community because he is wealthy/conservative/has white friends. Well, if that means he is blind to the black community, then I am as well, and let me tell you, I most definitely am not. Simply because I would rather see one of my own make it out of the 'hood and grow as an individual than become a servant to the government relying on a handout every month does not mean I am unaware there are many people who can not do so. The point is, it takes time to move a people from a mentality of servitude and reliance to a mentality of strength and individuality.

Finally, the last claim is that he is the excuse for the republican party/right wing/conservatives to claim they are not racist. To this I have a few responses:

1. How can this be true when they are supporting him? I guarantee you, a black man can get a FEW "racists" to put behind their views in order to garner more positive public opinion, but in order to start a movement like this......race is NOT a part. It's too strong, you'd see a flocking to Perry & Paul.

2. I am black, I am conservative, and not only do I support him, but I have been supported by conservatives in my life and none of it was given to me based on race, rather based on the product of my actions.

3. Is it more racist for white people to AGREE with a black person simply because he is black & they feel bad, or is it more racist for white people to DISAGREE with a black person simply because he isn't THEIR type of black person? The answer should be obvious.

The allegations and accusations made by the left wing & media outlets of this country are sickening. As a black conservative I find them to be disturbing, and as an American citizen I find the whole situation to be baseless and a testament to the obvious disregard for common sense that the powers-that-be tend to perpetuate in our lives.

Welcome! First post

Today is November 4th, 2011 and this is the first post in Conservative Kellz.

I would like to take this time to explain the purpose of this blog. I look around the world and I see plenty of news sources for liberals and those who many of us would call "sheeple", but not enough for the free thinking conservative. Also, as a black conservative I believe I can bring a perspective to the news and happenings of the world that not many conservatives are exposed to. These are my views on government/most social issues so you know how I think:

-Stay off my land
-Stay away from my guns
-Stay away from my wallet
-Stay away from my family
-Stay away from my community unless WE decide to bring YOU in
-Abortion is a family issue
-Marriage is between 2 organisms committing to love each other. Man or woman, I don't care, I'm a man, I will marry a woman that's as far as I care.
-Welfare is a system that is good in idea, but in practice has caused a reliant populace that can no longer fend for itself
-The "Nanny State" is pitiful
-Liberals are soft
-Racism is wrong
-All religions are institutions where no one is superior to the other
-Support our troops. End of story.
....more to come but those are some of them.

Anyway this blog will have my opinions, opinions I find interesting from both sides of the spectrum, news, videos, and reviews. There are many times this will include common media things, but I will ensure to relate them to either politics or America overall. Enjoy!
